“I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.” – Douglas Adams

So obviously last week ended and Episode 11 of PortsCenter did not go up. This is because I am a liar. I sit upon a throne of lies, and I dispense misinformation with the explicit intention of hurting the people who have put their faith in my abilities. From your misery is my strength drawn, and I am now more powerful than you could possibly imagine.

Actually the truth is a little more mundane – I just didn’t have time to make the episode. I know. I’m sorry. I tried to film over the weekend during a trip to visit a friend in Anaheim, but his place was too small to film in. But I will be filming the episode tonight, editing tomorrow, and hopefully posting it on Thursday.

Episode 12 will follow next week, though not on Monday as I’m attending a wedding this weekend and won’t have time to shoot it. I will be working on the script while I’m not busy giving Best Man speeches or leading parades or whatever.

(Incidentally, it’s the wedding of cartoonist extraordinaire Ray Friesen, who also designed the circular PortsCenter logo. Should be a blast.)

After PortsCenter 1.12 next week, we should be able to get back onto a regular weekly schedule. I know things have been a little wobbly these last couple of weeks, and that’s in part down to my abhorrent time management skills, but we’ll power through.

Oh, and Season One is probably being extended even further. Still in the planning stages, but I can’t get over my adoration of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the NES platform game has some fascinating history surrounding it that I would *love* to delve into in more detail. So that’s looking like a future episode. Oh, and I posted a Vine hinting at a possible future episode of the show as well.

I am constantly awed by your love and support for the show, and the last thing I want to do is let you down. Thank you for continuing to be exceptional.
